Challenge/Opportunity

April Bellia is the CEO of Granola girl and is the Co-founder of Serendipity Tea Party. She wanted a website that reflected her personal brand, while highlighting her coaching and consulting business.

Our Solution

We tied in April’s foodie experience with a “Tea Theme” and used colours that complemented her existing businesses. We created programs that connected to her previous experience in a fun and playful way. Her 60 minute offering became “You+Me+Tea” and her 8-week program became “8-week Tea+Talk+Tribe.” April wanted a form functionality, so those wanting to work with her could submit information to pre-determine suitability. To create some ease around April’s speaking and media requests, we created a media page to host her bio, in 3 different formats and added a gallery for photo selection. Her events were highlighted to showcase her other passion for people and community. It provides context for those who know April through the extensive networking circles she has built over the years.

Challenge/Opportunity

This website was created as a support piece for the company’s main website www.ascentafinance.com. While the company wasn’t ready for a complete website redesign, Marshall Farris, the company’s President wanted a functional component that would password protect the area of the site that showcased new investment opportunities. Marshall had a need to keep Ascenta's financing projects confidential and only accessible to registered members of their investment network.

Our Solution

We created a page with a complimentary look and feel to the existing website. The simple two button navigation directs clients through the funnels: “New Member Application” and “Member Login.” The new member application form clicks through to a downloadable form increasing process intake and administrative efficiency. Existing members of Ascenta's network can now access information about its current projects through this portal. Once in the main site, clients can view the investment options.

Challenge/ Opportunity

DNI Metals Inc. needed a new website. The existing website was pieced together over the years and now needed a cohesive look. The company’s product is graphite from Madagascar -- highly technical and often misunderstood.

Our Solution

We created an updated website with Parallax scrolling to highlight the various pieces of content: The Graphite Market, Types of Graphite and DNI Graphite. The company had recently undergone some unwarranted local media scrutiny, so Dan Weir, President and CEO wanted to create a content section reflecting their Corporate Responsibility initiatives (Responsible Mining, Social Responsibility, Health and Safety). As much as possible, we repurposed the content to simplify it for the general public. Extensive visual support was used throughout the website -- all original photography taken during the team’s site visits to Madagascar, creating a more approachable feel to balance the highly technical data. Infographics were designed to support some of the more complex information.
